Satan’s only desire is to destroy the unique relationship between God and man. Our first glimpse of this is in the Garden of Eden. Taking the form of a serpent, Satan whispers a doubt into Eve’s ear: “Did God actually say ‘You shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?” Satan knows exactly what God said, but he twisted it, misused it and misapplied it, all for his own gain.  So what should you expect? You should expect Satan to mislead you. How will you know you’re being lied to? Read God’s word. You have to know God’s truth before you can decipher Satan’s lies.
